server2go deletes mysql database on shutdown
By admin on Dec 9, 2009 | In server2go | Send feedback »
I recently used server2go to do some work and found the windows apache/mysql/php/perl web server that runs out of the box really easy to use. However, I run into a bit of problem. Whenever I shut down server2go (by closing the default browser) my mysql database would get erased.
The solution is simple
Go to the pms_config.ini file in the serve2go installation and change varariable from
LocalMirror=1
to
LocalMirror=0
This means that the database files will not be mirrored to the local machine (which is fine if your installation is on writeable media like a hard drive or usb stick and all your files will be in th dbdir directory.
